Hello Wonderful Listeners!
It’s the end of the first week and I’m still quite excited! Day five just came rolling in and I was stoked! Now before I get sidetracked, I’ll get right to the assignment.
Today’s assignment asked us to create a feature that will draw traffic toward older content. For me, that meant creating a “Best Of” page since I am already fulfilling the other suggestions naturally.
Now, being frank, I put off creating something like this because I knew it would be difficult for me to chose the cream of the crop. Every post has its own special meaning and is like a child: you just can’t pick one over the other without some hurting. Granted, I’ve wanted new viewers to miraculously browse through my archives and delve deeper into my blog but it’s not a bad thing to help direct them and make it easier to do. That’s what this assignment has shown me. I’ve realized that it’s OK to showcase my trophies.
So I did it! I made a brand new page called Tasty Treasures. It has a select few posts that deserve some love in my opinion and are just fantastic. If you happen to have some time, why not go check it out? Promise it’s worth the click (or tap if you’re on a mobile device.)
Well, I think that goes ahead and fulfills the assignment indeed! This is all new to me so I might be changing this new feature a bit here and there. Best to work out the kinks early, if you catch my drift.
That’s all from me. Until next time, cheers!
