It’s me, Carlos. Boy, the summer of 2017 has been quite a impactful one hasn’t it? In fact, it’s been so filled with memories that you’re having trouble writing this post, huh? Well, don’t fret. Baby steps. Just take this one thing at a time.
You know, last summer was one filled with work on work on work. You were slaving. Heh, but not this summer. You spent your summer doing the opposite, not working. Spending your days cooped up inside your parents’ house, in your childhood room, has been both a blessing and curse.
You’ve made a lot of memories in that room. And this summer, it just seems like you really embraced laziness. You managed to play through all of your video games—Murdered: Soul Suspect, The Last of Us, Okami, Life Is Strange, Watch Dogs, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Metal Gear Solid V, and Thief (all of which have brought hours of joy, fright, frustration, etc.)
Hey Wonderful Listeners!
Oh, I tell you, this Spring Break was quite a relaxing one, although many exciting things didn’t come to pass. But I cannot complain for all the things that have happened, for the most part, have been really wonderful. If you’ll let me, I’d like to recount some of the happenings which have passed over the course of this week.
My Spring Break started basically on Friday, March 10th. I didn’t have any obligations to anything so I mostly spent time just relaxing if you will. I’ve spent a lot of my time just doing things with my friends and avoiding the little homework I do actually have. (Y’know, because I’m lazy.)
Hi Wonderful Listeners!
Today was both a wonderful day and a terrible day. How so? Well, overall, it was a great day except for two unexpected occurrences. They did throw me for a loop but I powered through them. However, let me just dive into my day and you’ll see what I’m talking about.
So I started out by getting up at a decent hour. I woke up with enough time to put myself together in a decent way. I had the pleasure of catching the bus with Armand (who’s still crashing on our couch every other night or so.) We caught the bus and we were on our way to campus.
After reaching campus, we went our seperate ways. I decided to stop by Dos Gatos Kolaches since I was feeling hungry for breakfast. The lovely people who were there had me in and out in like two minutes. They’re so great. I love their service and kolaches! 🙂 Funny enough, walking from Dos Gatos to my first class in Sabinal, I ran into Armand again. Apparently, he was feeling hungry too (which is a shame because we could’ve had breakfast together.)
Greetings Wonderful Listeners!
Well, we’ve managed to get to part 3 of this entire recap. Who knows how many parts I have left to write up? I don’t even know anymore. I just keep rambling on it seems. But regardless, I suppose I’ll jump right into this little bit.
So this part is going to focus on my adventure with a company called Hastings. I wasn’t with them for a long time, but, I did make enough memories there to at least talk about it in a post. But without further ado, let me get started.
Hey there Wonderful Listeners,
Man today was much better than yesterday. Straight up. Like, I enjoyed myself more and I think part of that has to do with the fact that I had less to worry about today than I did yesterday. But to get to the point, today was pretty good. 🙂 Continue reading
