I don’t think I have felt this conflicted in quite some time. There’s a lot to what I’m about to say so it’s going to be quite a bit of rambling (you’ve been warned.) I’d just like to get right to it.
After I came home to San Antonio from my college town, my mother introduced me to this opportunity. At first, you know, I wasn’t really all that interested in finding out what it was. It didn’t sound like something that would make my radar go off. But I went to inquire more about it anyway. I suppose you can blame that on my kindness, my restraint on judging before knowing, and because it was my mother who was asking.
Well, I went to a meeting on Thursday in late May for this company called Primerica. I wasn’t sure what to expect. All I really knew at the time was that there was some information from this meeting that might be useful, so I took it.
Hello again Wonderful Listeners!
So I’m back to talk more about what I’ve been up to since I was away. I’m not focusing on the academics as far as classes are concerned. Nope, I’m focusing on the extracurricular this time and these things have kept me just as busy as class has! So let me not waste time, I’ll get right to it.
The best way to talk about all of this is probably to split it up between the following subjects: Middle Grey, and Exhibitions. Be warned, I’m going to have a lot to say so please be prepared for quite the read. Alright let’s go!
Hi Wonderful Listeners!! 🙂
I suppose you might have been wondering how life has been treating me? Well, it has definitely a ride. Ups and downs, highs and lows, and as you might have noticed, I’ve been M.I.A. Well, just know it wasn’t by choice.
I will say this, school itself has definitely been good. I admit, a little hectic at times, but good nonetheless. In fact, I’m going to start this with school. So, instead of dragging this out, I’m going to jump right into this. I think that will get me through this post the fastest, with the least amount of ramble. (No guarantees on the ramble part though!) Continue reading
Monday, June 13th
With the start of a new week, I have already become accustomed to being driven to the bus stop by my mother in the morning. Honestly, I know that this privilege could be revoked at any time but, I do appreciate those extra winks that I can manage to get in. Continue reading
Hello Wonderful Listeners.
My days in life have been dragging on and leaving me behind I feel like. In fact, life has been doing nothing but moving all the time and I finally had the chance to sit down and say what I have been dying to say for over a week.
Guys, I’m going to keep a log of my time interning. Yes. Not only do I run a blog, but this place is a diary first. I truly want to remember in great detail, my time at Artpace! 🙂 So that’s what I’m going to do.
I don’t know exactly what I can say as to what will be happening but everything that happens will get recorded here. I do hope you guys will enjoy reading my stories and recollections as much as I enjoy telling them. I want to make these logs exciting but I can’t promise that, or anything really. So, just stick around for the ride. You are free to disembark at any time.
As a note to myself, I want to say that you will most likely look back on these posts with fondness. At the end of it all, no matter how crappy your situations may have possibly gotten, you will have thoroughly enjoyed your time as an intern.
Be not afraid of what is to come. You know how much of a scaredy cat you can be, but try to show courage. You can do it. You’ve gone through many hardships before and you’ve grown. Now, it’s time to put all your life skills into action and grace through your internship. If anyone can do it, it’s you. It’s always been you.
Now, I’d like to get right to the material. Each post will start on Monday and end on Friday. I’ll include a little weekly recap at the end of each post as well, just to sum up everything. The material will be filled with words and images. I may include some other things too but that will reveal itself in time.
With all this being said, let’s get started with week 1. However, I only think it’s fitting to start my journey the day before it actually kicks off. So that’s where we’ll begin…
